Paul Meeks, CEO of Great Day, Inc., in preparation for his retirement, announces the promotion of Ilar Paul Meeks to President of the company. Also, Rick Sumners has been promoted to VP of Operations. Both men have been groomed to handle the responsibilities associated with their respective positions and will assume expanded duties immediately.

Ilar Paul Meeks holds a B. S. degree from Mississippi College, Clinton MS and has 14 years of experience in sales and management.  He joined the Great Day team in July of 2003 as VP of Sales and Marketing and has been instrumental in establishing business relationships with many major distributors and retailers throughout the U. S. and Canada. With the help of Great Day’s management team; in his new role, Ilar will be responsible for overall management and administrative duties.

Rick Sumners came to Great Day, Inc. in 2003 with 30 years of experience in manufacturing---specializing in quality control, production and procurement.  For the past 14 years, Rick has served as Great Day’s Operations Manager.  His new position will include maximizing labor efficiency and managing procurement to help Great Day provide quality, dependable products and timely service for our customers.
